You get up in the middle of the night to a distant howling. You feel strangly attracted to the soft sound in the and listen to the rain patter on your window. More howls follow, and you feel the urge to call back, but you resist, and try to sleep. When you wake up, you have a terrible headache, but you ignore it, but slowly, after a couple of weeks, you find patches of gray fur instead of soft, human skin...

You keep fingering the paper with the weird writing. Soon, you are able to transform part of your skin into fur at will, making it easier to stay hidden, but it comes with major exhaustion. For days, you analyze the code, with no success. Days turned to weeks, and weeks turned to months. You sigh, and go to the Forbidden Forest to see your fur and human mix.
Tip-toeing out of the (Insert House Name) common room, you brandish your wand, holding it guardedly before you. You manage to avoid run-in's with Mr.Filch's cat, and make it safely outside. Carefully, you start to venture out into the gloomy, spooky forest.
After finding a suitable spot, you allow the feeling of exhaustion to overcome you, and chant a incantation in a rather dead and unhearable tone. Suddenly, you let out a groud-splitting howl-roar. Your senses immediately inhanced, fur on end, ready to pounce at something lurking in the shadows.
Claws out, teeth bared, you jump finding a rather startled centuar under your paws - *Wait. Paws? Claws? What the heck am I talking about?* Looking around at your reflection in a puddle. You snarl in approval at the sharp fangs and claws out, ready to attack. Blood dripped down your fangs, and blood was everywhere. On your fur, paws, everywhere. Somehow knowing that your fur always looked like that, you lean down to feast on the now-dead centuar.
(Also, note that "*[insert text here]*" means that you are thinking)
*No!* You think frantically, racking your brain for the incantation to turn you back to human. Nothing came to mind. *Come on!*
The tiniest bit of control you had before was ripped out of your grasp. After a while, you heard a voice in the distance.
"Stop! Y/N fight it!" ??? shouted.
You attempt to clear your mind, muttering the incantation bringing you back to human. Collapsing on a nearby tree stump, you look around at what you had just done. Blood was splattered everywhere, bodies lay on the floor. You feel a familiar hand on your arm, and look into Y/B/F/N's eyes.
"What happened?" She/he asks concerned.
"I have no idea, I just lost control." You reply, still taken aback by the mess that you have just created.
"I called the headmaster to see if he could help."
You nod, and wait for him to arrive.
When Dumbledore finally came, he looks at you and says, "I'm afraid I found the answer too late." Your silence urged him on. "So, I deciphered the code. It said 'Bloodwolf', and if you fill in the blanks of the passage, it says, ''The legend of the Bloodwolves are not known to most of wizard-kind. Symptoms of being one includes hearing howls of the wolves, terrible headaches, and sometimes hallucinating, though not often. Some people think this myth actually may have some truth, but many more do not. Legend has it that they would transform each full moon into Bloodwolves. It also says that they were hunted, and believed to be dangerous. So dangerous that even a dragon couldn't best them in a fight. When their howls are heard by normal people, the ground tremors. Of course, this is only a myth, and very few believe they have actually existed in the world."
You gasp, and say, "So I'm basically one of those monsters?"
"I wouldn't call it a monster, but yes."
"How am I supposed to control it then?" You ask.
"Hmm... that we don't know, and I'm afraid every full-moon we will have to isolate you until we have an answer. I also found that you are able to change at will, and change into a wolf as well." He says.
You nod. *What is going to happen to me?*
