Overnight, the fur had already swallowed up your whole arm, advancing on your neck. You rush to contact the headmaster in the brink of dawn, running across the halls to his office. "Licorice snaps." You say breathlessly. The stone gargoyle just stays there, glaring at you eerily. You gulp, and thankfully, the statue doesn't move. You slap yourself on the head for thinking that Professor Dumbledore hasn't changed the password for two whole weeks. "Up this early?" You spin around to see Peeves laughing his head off aiming a Dungbomb at you. You yelp as the dirty brown ball lands on your shoes, splattering everywhere. Glaring at the ghost, you lean down and point your wand at the mess, saying, "Scourgify." "Peeves!" Dumbledore says sternly. The poltergeist just smiled sarcastically, and floated off. "I am very, dearly sorry for that." The headmaster apologized. "No its okay." The Professor leads you inside the office and says, "Your probably here because of the symptoms, correct?" "Yes. I'm starting to get fur all over my arm." You roll up your sleeve to show him. "Hmm... I don't know what that is, but I found some information." He show's you a paper that he had put all the information on. It read: " * * * * * * * * * . . . . . . . . . / \ / / \ \ / / \ / - - - - - - - - - fdafadBKdkadKALSaKDAkALDKFlfkkajfldkjfokwlfnaofdkljwojkldfakjdafahkfjhaweiodfadaladkfajldf." You blink, unsure of what it meant. "Yeah, I know, its confusing, but that's what the rest of the pages kept saying." "Then it must mean something. Probably some sort of code..." You wonder aloud. "Exactly. The part that's hard is that what does it mean? It is very clear that it is meant to confuse the reader, or else why would it be in this format? And why did the author write it like that? Was it banned or dangerous to say? There are so many possiblities of what it could mean, but the truth is uncertian." He sighed. "For now, we need to take a bit of the fur growing on your arms." Arms? Last time I checked, there was only fur on one arm! You roll up both your sleeves, finding patches of fur on both arms. You hold them out, allowing the headmaster to pluck a few strands off your arms. You grimace and grit your teeth. "Well, that sound certainly made things easier. I'll do some tests on these, and maybe experiment with some Polyjuice Potion to transform myself into the type of animal you are growing into." He says. "Thank you again, Professor." "No problem. Now, get ready for your classes."
