I Want to be in Gryffindor

Chapter 1

Hi, I'm Elizabeth. My favorite character in the Harry Potter series is Hermione Granger, and has always been, but there's one thing. She's in Gryffindor, and I'm in Ravenclaw. Now, one year, I went as her for halloween, and had the whole Gryffindor getup, the robe, the vest, the scarf. I liked going as her, but I felt like I wasn't showing enough house pride, even though I love my house, I wondered if I could get into hers. This is not saying Gryffindor is a bad house, because it isn't. But the same thing with Harry and Ron, why couldn't they be in other houses? Couldn't, for once in fourteen years (sorry Slytherin, but you got that cup seven years in a row too), what about giving another house a chance? It doesn't really help house pride if your house never really shines in the spotlight. This isn't really a book, but it makes you wonder how the story would be different if they were all spread out into different houses. Is being brave really better then being kind, intelligent, or witty? It's a great thing, to be brave, but is it really better? Think on that.
