The start of it all

Chapter 1

I was born on a unlucky day. It was October 13 on a Friday. My mom and dad were nice to me while I was growing up until I turned 8. Everything changed the day after my birthday. My mom had gotten into a car crash and died. After that my dad started drinking and calling me bad names saying it was my falt for my mother’s death. He abused me. I had no friends to help me at the time so I was alone. This all lasted until I was 10 when I had enough. I packed what little things I had with some food ,water ,matches and a knife. My dad was asleep so it was the perfect time to escape. Once I shut the door I ran. I ran as far as I could the fastest I could. It was the middle of the night so all of my light came from the moon. That didn’t stop me all I wanted to do was get away from that miserable place. After ten minutes of running I had ran a couple miles away so I was safe. Or so I thought.
