Chapter 4

Neville Longbottom walked past me as I walked up to Minerva, who was standing on the steps of the courtyard. She muttered a spell that I had never heard of before: 'Piertotum Locomotor'. She then looked at me and said "I've always wanted to use that spell." Suddenly, behind me, I heard a massive crash, and I though that some of the Death Eaters were already here. But no. They were giant chess pieces - bigger than me! I could only recognize them because they looked just like the ones that Ron, Bill, Fred and George played with at home, just much smaller. But of course, those giant blocks of stone weren't going to help us win this. At least, not on their own. I started to point my wand at the sky and muttered as many protection spells and charms that I knew.
