Luna Lovegood

Chapter 2

We are all in the Room of Requirement. We are waiting for Nevile to come back. I hope he make it back here safely. I am on the floor, reading while others are in hammocks and talking to each other. Suddenly, the portrait swung open and Neville came out. So he did make it back! "I've got a surprise..." he said. Out from behind him, was Harry Potter! And behind him was Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Well, what else would you expect? They are always together. Seamus was the first to talk: "So.. eerrr... What are you here for then?" Everyone mumbled in agreement and stared at them, waiting for an answer. "Well, we need to find something" he replied. "What is it?" "We don't know... But we know it is related to Ravenclaw" What was he on about? I thought to myself and wondered what he was talking about. Wel, firstly, we have the ghost. Maybe it's something old? "Rowena Ravenclaw's lost diadem?" I suggested. "What the bloody hell is a diadem?" Ron asked. "It's a sort of crown..." Cho Chang replied. "But, Luna. It's been lost for centuries... No one here alive has seen it." "Alive... Thank you Cho!" Harry muttered. He then beckoned Ron and Hermione to leave. About 5 minutes after they had gone, a call went our that we all had to go to the Great Hall. We all went over to our trunks and got our our robes. We then went to line up and made our way down to the Great Hall, where Snape was waiting for us. I was very surprised that Snape would wake up every single one of the students at this time of night. I know that Harry Potter was supposedly on the loose, but I think he must have lots and lots of wrackspurts buzzing around his ears. "Now, if anyone is helping Harry Potter or hiding him, please step forward... Now." Snape hissed. I heard footsteps and saw that Harry Potter had stepped out himself from the Griffyndor line. The whole of the Great Hall gasped in surprise. "How dare you stand where he stood!" Harry shouted. Suddenly, Snape whipped out his wand and aimed at Harry. Everyone (including me) rushed up as close to the wall as they could. Professor McGonagall stepped in front of Harry to shield him from Snape. Then she herself drew out her wand. Out of no-where, a duel started between the two teachers. I was just amazed at the fact that after a while, Snape backed down and disaparrated out of the window. What a coward! Now, as you might already know, Voldemo-. Sorry. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named can control Harry's mind sometimes. Also, he can cause lots of pain in his scar. But suddenly, we could all hear his voice ringing out over the hall. It sounded like a snake, and it spoke: "Bring me Harry Potter..."
