I don't believe JK Rowling wrote the fight scene between Harry and Voldemort very well (just my opinion). So here: I wrote my version

Major Character Death

Harry looked into Voldemort's eyes with a deep meaning to kill. Bellatrix was right, to cast an unforgivable curse, you had to mean it. And Harry meant it. He meant it for everything Voldemort had done to him. Taken away his parents, ordered Draco to kill his only father figure of a headmaster, and had the nerve to try and kill Harry.
"Boy, you are destined to die. At my hands, here tonight. Everybody will know me, and you, The boy who lived, will be forgotten, " Taunted Voldemort, "You won't make it out. Nobody will, I will burn Hogwarts." His voice sounded calm, and patronising.
"Yeah, well you never knew love! You never felt Hogwarts, it was my home, from the very beginning, and you can't take that off me. Tonight, we will all fight, against you, against the death eaters!" Harry retaliated.
The villain that stood infront of Harry, looked bewildered. He had not expected for the young boy to speak back to him. He glared at Harry, and snarled.
"If you want to show me you can fight, then SHOW ME!!!" Voldemort's voice rang out for miles. The boy who lived, took a step back in surprise and scowled at Voldemort.
"You have wronged me in so many ways, I will settle this once and for all, and I won't be the one that's dead."
Harry raised his wand, and Voldemort followed. At the same time, they both shouted their curses;
"AVADA KEDAVRA!"
"EXPELLIARMUS!"
The two spells clashed, and a blinding ball of white formed between them. Harry pushed hard on his wand, and his red line inched towards the evil man that stood before him.
Voldemort's scowl turned into concentration and rage, which Harry could not understand. How was Voldemort furious? He had nothing to be angry about. The green line moved towards Harry, and he forced it back again, with his own red spark. He remembered back to when he was in the graveyard with Cedric, how his dead loved ones had visited him. The red line grew longer. He though of how his parents looked at him and smiled warmly in the mirror of Erised. The green line shortened. He remembered what it was like with the Dursleys. The red line had eaten the green one.
Voldemort broke away. Before he could mutter another curse, he was hit. Something green and cold. Hard and scary. Nightmares. Darkness. Scariness. Death. Voldemort shivered, as death came to his mind. And he was gone. In a black mass that floated up to the sky, the great, fearsome wizard was dead. The battle was over.
