Chapter 6

Seeder soon found my sweet side (which wasn't hard at all to find), and we worked on that for the whole hour.  I left feeling ready for the interview even though it was in a long time, ready to be a sweet, innocent girl who had just the misfortune to be reaped.  Reaped to die.

When I looked out of the window of the train a couple of hours later, tons and tons of Capitol people were shouting and pointing at the train they recognized as being the District 11's tribute one.  I waved and smiled, hiding my hatred of them deep down.  I hated the way they got excited to watch death and their stupid looks and dumb accents.  When the train station finally hid them from view, I ran to Thresh's room and knocked on the door.  His answer was muffled, but I was pretty sure I heard, "Wait."

So I waited, but he didn't get out before I left and got off the train to go to the Remake Center.
