The Wheel Spread & The Past, Present, Future Spread
The Wheel spread is used similar to a clock; put down the cards in a clockwise motion until three cards are on each pile. The last card will go in the middle of the circle. The person chooses three piles of the tweleve. Each pile matches to a month, creating a year timeline. Explain each pile, almost like telling a story. The Past, Present, Future spread is most commonly used. For general questions, three cards are choosen. Explain each card & what each can mean. The card on the left represents the mind, past, & background. The middle card represents the body, present, & problem. The card on the right represents the spirit, future, & advice.
New Deck Spread & Celtic Cross Spread
The New Deck spread is used for new decks. The first card answers what it will teach you. The second card answers what you wish to know. The third card answers what your relationship will look like with the cards. The Celtic Cross spread is the oldest method. This spread uses ten cards & has a significator.
