Grindylows
Grindylows live in lakes in Britain such as the Black Lake at Hogwarts & Ireland. They are Dark creatures because they eat humans, but they mostly eat fish & algae. They hunt their prey in packs & share the food. Grindylows can be kept in a tank with foliage & they hide themselves from humans. Grindylows are positive around merpeople. They do not lay eggs & when they give birth, they have twins. Babies eat algae until three months of age & female grindylows give birth once a year. At the age of two, their horns grow in. Grindylows can make sparks & move items around. The sparks are a yellow-white & use their magic to kill fish & use as a warning alert system. Instead of using magic, grindylows use spears. To be a Dark creature, a beast must be threatening to other creatures or humans & do not have to possess Dark magic.
