School Part 2

As I sat alone

Scrolling on my phone,

A girl came up to me

And you'll never believe, 

But she asked to sit next to me

 

I'm like "sure,"

But I was scared.

Those fierce hazel eyes, shook me to the core,

As they stared, and they glared

At my hand-me-down clothes.

 

To my surprise though,

She smiled, she put her hand out for me to shake.

"Hi, my name's Flo,

And I really like chocolate raspberry cake."

 

I was thinking of what to say,

Struggling to find the words.

"Oh, my name's Jean,

And I like lemon curds."
