A/N Sorry this is such a short chapter, I've been supper stressed lately and haven't really had any motivation to write
Mattheo
When I wake up, it takes me a moment to remember where I am all I can notice is the pounding headache 'Fuck! my head hurts. How much did I drink last night' . I look around the room is unfamiliar, the bed beneath me soft and warm. Then I hear her breathing, slow and steady beside me. I turn my head to look at her, and my heart stutters in my chest at the sight. She's asleep beside me, her back toward me, her hair splayed across the pillow like a golden halo. She looks peaceful, and her features are soft and relaxed in sleep. She's wearing one of my t-shirts, the fabric bunched up around her hips, her bare legs tangled in the sheets. I can't help but stare at her, my eyes tracing over the curves of her body, the slope of her shoulder, the curve of her hip. She looks small, delicate, almost fragile like she could break if I touched her too hard. But I know she's not fragile. Not at all. Memories from last night come flooding back to me, the feel of her skin under my hands, the sound of her gasp against my mouth... I can still taste her on my tongue. Carefully, gently, I touch my fingers to the bare skin of her hip, feeling the warmth of her, the softness of her. She mumbles something incoherent in her sleep, shifting slightly but not waking up. I move closer to her, closing the distance between us. My hand trails up her hip, over the curve of her waist, to the smooth, bare skin of her arm. I can feel the beat of her pulse beneath my fingertips, steady and strong.
I lean down, my lips just barely touching the skin at the base of her neck, tasting her, inhaling her scent. My arm wraps around her waist, pulling her closer to me, She sighs in her sleep, her body relaxing against mine, her back molding against my chest, our legs tangle together beneath the sheets.
I could stay like this forever. Holding her close. Feeling the rise and fall of her breathing. This is nice.
Peaceful.
And for once in my life i'm happy.
