Tobacco is used as an offering or gift before picking other plants, and thus holds a very spiritual significance to Aboriginal people. It is interesting to note that Tobacco has become a one of the highest death causing herbs, due to the addictions many muggles have to smoking it in unpure and commercialized doses. Small amounts of Tobacco can be stimulating; however, if one uses too much, the herb is also capable of causing hallucinations. Herbologists in Aboriginal cultured discovered that Tobacco can be useful for curing pain in the ears, animal bites such as from snakes, cuts, burns, fevers, convulsions, nervous system problems, and various skin diseases.
