Herbology is important to the wizarding world. To herbologists, magical & non-magical plants are both important. All plants can be used for medicinal, protective, educational, & decorative reasons. As well, every herb, fungi, tree, & flower has special gifts. Plants can also have human & animal-like features. Using the word mundane is prohibited because it wrongly suggests that non-magical plants have little to no use, & this causes herbologists to have a wrongful opinion.
