Chapter 76
You select the choice that says “Bubotuber”. The magical barrier shuts down and you see a plant that looks like a giant black slug with covered with shiny protrusions. You remember that it is the gas-scented yellow pus collected from those pustules that can treat acne, but only when diluted with dittany or Gillywater. The pus in its original state will cause rashes and burns on contact. If that happens, you have to cleanse the wound for five minutes under cold water before applying dittany.
The display on the Bubotuber says that everything is good, so it can be concluded that the soil is still dark and rich in nutrients and that it didn’t get too much sunlight. When required, you’ll just have to add plenty of Dragon dung to fertilize the soil.
You also know that Bubotuber can stand very cold weather.
You step to the next magical barrier. Its riddle is:
“I go by different names such as myrtle grass and sweet myrtle and though I am toxic, I can still help cure tooth aches, burns and eye diseases amongst others.”
If you answer “Monkshood”, go to Chapter 95.
If you answer “Rat Root”, go to Chapter 86.
