You select the choice that says “Mistletoe berries”.  The magical barrier flickers out of existence and you can see a plant with small, white and waxy berries: a mistletoe. 


Above the plant, a display appears: “Condition: Good”. Well, you’ll have to thanks your parents for that spell, maybe even ask them about it.

You follow with your exploration and stop in front of the next plant. The riddle reads:

“We are a sedative used in sleeping potions and calming draughts. Part of us is found in the Forgetfulness Potion and another part in the Draught of the Living Death.”



If you answer “Valerian (sprigs and roots)”, go to Chapter 14.

If you answer “Rat Root (leaves and roots)”, go to Chapter 15.
