Brief History and Essential Laws
In ancient times, magic was practised much more openly and freely, witches and wizards helped protect ancient tombs.
wand making started with the Ollivander family since 382 B.C.E.
Aroud 1000 C.E. the wizarding world began sperating from muggles, ans was ruled my the council of Warlocks until 1400 C.E. Muggles started burning witches so in 1689 came the introduction of the International Statue of Secrecy. But because the wizarding world was still mad at muggles and would hurt them, the wizarding world had to be hidden. In the muggle world magic had become a legend, though most stories are true.
Anyone under 17 falls within the guidelines of the Decree for the Reasonable Resctriction of Underage Sorcery, established in 1875. witches and wizards under 17 will also be traced.
