Your sense of responsibility for the fate of the world overcomes your love for Gellert Grindelwald and you challenge him to a duel. He has stolen the Elder Wand, which is supposed to make whoever conquers its previous owner invincible, but your superior fighting skills are more than a match for his wand. You defeat Grindelwald and take the Elder Wand. He is incarcerated in the prison he built for incarcerating his victims and he remains there for the rest of his life. You are treated as a hero by most of the wizarding world, but in your heart you wish that you could have persuaded him to abandon his plan instead of having to fight with him.
