Backstory

I've always been really interested in Defense and in Potions, and many other subjects, so I'm really looking forward to classes started. When I first got my letter, I stole my mum's wand and tried to set it on fire, but all I managed was a spark. Oh well. I really hope people don't mind I'm a Slytherin, since we're always stigmatized, ya know? I'm not evil. My family is, a little bit, since my dad worked with You-Know-Who, but I'm not. I don't want to be like him at all. I want to be a healer, actually. My mum and dad scoff at that, but they aren't very nice to being with. They prefer my older sister, River, because she's so much like Dad and she had all their dark beliefs, so I guess they don't need me. I've never really had that many friends, so being around a ton of people scares me. I guess I'll just be that one awkward girl reading in a corner.
