Backstory

Character age: 17

In the beginning of his life, Elliott never felt like he fit in. He felt like he lived in a world that didn't understand him. At the age of six, he opened himself to those around him. He shared his intellect and was ostracized for it. This created Elliott's sadness. He retracted himself from the society around him and even retracted from himself. He didn't talk about the world. Instead, Elliott listened to thrashing guitar and whiny vocals. He wrote. He didn't want to share his feelings or thoughts with anyone around him, including family. This made Elliott's relationships with his mom and dad break away. He was alone.
Elliott, a muggle born wizard, was ecstatic when he received his letter. The same could not be said for his parents. Disowned at 12 years old, he set off on this new journey in a magical world. Elliott brought his college savings with him to Gringotts. He set up his account by exchanging his muggle money. With his new funds, he was able to afford the school supplies and his cat he named Fran. Elliott spent the train ride to Hogwarts in solitude and continued to feel lonesome until he was sorted. He was sorted into the Ravenclaw house, where deep conversations and anxious feelings were abundant. Elliott had a new home. Half of the first semester had gone by when Elliott heard from the charm's Professor that his parents were trying to send him muggle mail. Although Elliott was the happiest he'd ever been, he decided to extend the olive branch by telling his parents he was more than okay and how to contact him. Thus, began a healing family with their wizard child. They took interest in his studies and made sure Elliott knew he was welcome home.
Now, Elliott is a motivated student in Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He has two homes and plenty of people who love him. He may struggle with his demons still, but he's no longer alone.
Elliott’s long-term goal/dream is to be a wandmaker. His interest in wandcraft began when he got his own wand, having asked Ollivander what Elliott’s wand meant. With Ollivander taking the time to explain what each part stood for, it created a spark that would last a lifetime. A few other wandmakers Elliott researched about are James Steward, Mykew Gregorovitch, and Death.

Habits: I tend to shake my hands when they’re down at my sides when anxious. Crossing arms over chest.

Fears: Scared of abandonment/isolation
Wishes: To have as many healthy plants as possible or to get all the music I can.
Personality: (secretly romantic, but I’ll hide that) Punk/grunge… a deep conversationalist. I enjoy discussing philosophies and similar things to that. Very chill… slightly depressing, very introverted, and anxious most of the time.
Flaws: Anti-social, very introverted with feelings
Mannerisms: Talks with hands. Sometimes will have to draw something out for my own sense of satisfaction. Sniffles/rubs nose a lot. Runs hands through hair a lot, tending to make it messier.
Personal Triggers: rape, sometimes the moon, and sometimes people saying "trust me" if I'm uncomfortable.
