Backstory

I'm proud to hold the title Director of Curriculum and Instruction here at the Ministry of Magic. Although there are many respective occupations in the Department of Education, I feel my role is significantly important because it is my job to collaborate everything my associates learn in their experiences and research, and apply this new knowledge to the abundant witchcraft and wizardry schools around the world. For any Muggles, No-Majs, or wizards out there with non-magic roots, I'm basically the equivalent to Secretary of State for the United States; I travel to all of our magic schools and inform professors how to incorporate new forms of magic, whether it be spells, potions, or incantations. In this way, the professors get to keep their curriculum up-to-date so that students are kept aware of these new types of magic -- the good and the bad. In fact, when I'm not at my Ministry of Magic office headquarters, traveling to the schools is my favorite thing to do, especially when I get to spend time with students and hear all the new things they've learned. Truly, seeing students learn brightens up my life. While I love all the schools equally, Hogwarts is my home, and I will always feel the most welcome there! I come back so often that the Minister of Magic herself is going to give me a talking-to... I'd better get back to work!
