Backstory

Getting a Hogwarts acceptance letter was not how I imagined ending my summer, but hey here I am now writing this in my dorm room because I just finished my wizard homework. Still can't get used to that. I am in Slytherin, which I have been told is practically the worst house to be in reputation-wise, but I don't really get the logic behind that since everyone here seems pretty chill. I still can't figure out if I'm having a very lucid dream or if this is real life, but if this all works out and I can get a job in the wizard world that would save me from joining the family business of selling car parts. Nobody here knows what that means, as it pertains to "muggles" and everyone here is a wizard. I was looking around in the library and I think I'd like to learn enough here to write one of those wizard books, or at least run a bookshop in Diagonal Alley. That place is my favorite besides the castle. Completely wild that no one has found this place yet, wizards get all the fun.
