Being a half-blood is tough sometimes, the muggle world won't accept you, the wizard world won't accept you, you can't talk about muggle things with your wizard friends and you can't talk about wizard things with your muggle friends (mostly because it's illegal), Hogwarts is a place where none of that matters, anyone can be anything.
