STORY:
Euphemia was born on March 10 to proud muggles, Bert and Lynda Ericson. Her Aunt June on her father's side attended Hogwarts as a Ravenclaw and possessed magical abilities, but until Euphemia received her Hogwarts acceptance letter, there were no other witches or wizards in her family line since. Both Bert and Lynda were excited to have an inherently special child among their little family. Completely supportive, they took their daughter to Diagon Alley as soon as they could, and prepared her for the year ahead.

Euphemia has a sister, Julie, who is her junior by three years. They were fairly close growing up, and shared a friend in the neighbors' daughter, Beth (fondly nicknamed "Bethy" by Euphemia), who is two years younger than Euphemia. Growing up, Beth and Euphemia were each other's best friend (Euphemia would even admit that she felt closer to Beth than Julie), so it was considerably difficult for Euphemia to part from her.

In looks, Euphemia takes after her father, with her blonde hair and grey-blue eyes. Julie, on the other hand, looks more like their dark-haired, tanned skinned mother. In personality, Euphemia is an outgoing, amiable girl with a passion for board games (Dix It is her favorite), and a hidden geeky side. She is excited to be learning at the best school of witchcraft and wizardry, and certainly has the right mindset and determination to succeed, but she is, admittedly, a bit more interested in making long-lasting relationships.
