Backstory

the name is gillian, friends call me gill. i am a first-year slytherin and the daughter of two proud hufflepuffs. my parents are herbologists, meaning i always got to tag along on their adventures to research newfound magical flora. growing up in the wizarding world has it's perks. i was homeschooled because of the constant of our home location. one day we would be in the dry deserts of mexico searching for a new species of nettle and the next we would be on the coast of ireland looking for ways to protect sea lavender's natural habitat. my parents saw it fit that i attend a real school to learn more in the areas they are not so familar. maybe growing up surrounded by plants has desensitized me, but i don't see my future following my parents' paths. i have a strong interest in the art of potionmaking, but at only eighteen years of age, i still have the rest of my life to figure the details out. cya around the dungeons.
