Alex Michaelis

Backstory

I come from a pureblood family. My mother, Evangeline Michaelis and my father, Oliver Michaelis both being Gryffindors back when they attended Hogwarts. Growing up as an only child, I had heard so many stories about Hogwarts from my parents. Some sounded absolutely brilliant! While others were..undoubtably tragic. My parents were so sure I'd be a Gryffindor, nothing in the world could change their minds. I was always told how much I'd do Gryffindor proud when I attended my first year, naturally you could imagine the look on their faces when they received a letter saying I was sorted into the house of Slytherin instead. Anyway, I can't say I'm too disappointed. I'm going on my sixth year at Hogwarts and I've not only made trustworthy and loyal friends within my house, but I have also found myself to be quite successful in my classes. I particularly fancy Defence Against the Dark Arts, although I didn't always find it to be such an easygoing subject, I still enjoy it immensely. Muggle Studies on the other hand make me want to strangle myself with my own wand, I can't imagine why somebody would willingly take that class.
