Backstory

Who would have thought? Surely not me. I came from a home of muggles, all who had no idea of the world right in front of our faces. Crazy, isn’t it? A transition like that would drive someone mad. Of course, as children, we all made things up like this in our heads, but as we get older, we realize that those things just can’t be true. Only now we know that they can be; a whole world of magic exists right before our eyes. So, naturally, getting the letter of acceptance was quite shocking for my entire family- well, my parents. They’re the only ones who knew about it all, and it took a little while to adjust. Being sorted was an experience for me- it didn’t take long for the sorting hat to put me in Gryffindor either; it was quite instantaneous, actually. I didn’t mind though. The Gryffindor house is pretty great! In my opinion anyways. A real experience was 9 3/4! More specifically, the brick wall to enter. A weird sensation that is! I’ve noticed that you forget the feeling after going through it, and yet you get used to it so easily. How odd! Curious, indeed.
