Backstory

Nobody ever said it would be easy to be a Slytherin in her first year at Hogwarts. I come from a pureblood family of Ravenclaws, so when I was sorted into Slytherin the pressure was on to be top of my year! My best class is History of Magic, but you don’t want to know how long I spend writing and rewriting those essays! I like Charms, Potions and Defense against the dark arts because of all the hands on work. Or as I call it “hands-off-the-quill-work.” When I’m not studying you can probably find me in the library or in the common room with my mates. Given I don’t have many mates in my house. They almost all look down on me because I don’t come from one of the very old and rich pureblood families like they do. They also don’t appreciate the fact that at the sorting ceremony the sorting hat took its time choosing where to place me, I was so close to being a Ravenclaw like the rest of my family. They feel as though I don’t belong here. But the very few that I have made friends make me feel like I belong and it’s like having a second family.
