Backstory

Man, I was excited, having seen my older brother get his letter to Hogwarts. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I bugged my parents every year about getting my letter. I was 5 years younger than my brother so it seemed like it would be forever until mine came. I had watched my brother come home for holidays, with all his books, ingredients and my imagination ran wild. He would talk to me about it, read some of the pages from his books to me. He was and still is my best friend. My family is mixed, muggle mom and a wizard for a dad, my brother is in Gryffindor at Hogwarts and he was so excited. When I finally got my letter, you wouldn't beleive how happy I was, ran around the house like a mad person. My parents had already been through this once so we knew where to go to get all my supplies, my wand, books, even my pet owl. His name is Smoke...Diagon Alley was an awesome place, so many nice people to help! So many interesting books to read too. I love to read, I'm sort of shy but hope to make really good friends, love animals a lot, I'm really quiet too around new people so hopefully there will some nice people to break me out of that shell.
