Backstory

I'm a Hufflepuff, which was initially a surprise to my family, but I love it. I believe that I am in this house for good reason and I especially love my classmates in it with me. At first the sorting hat thought I'd be fit for Slytherin but I guess he thought I be more suited for Hufflepuff. I love Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, and Divination. However, I really dislike Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions. I am fairly good at charms, but I can't stand the class. I am a muggle-born which kind of sucks, but I have good friends who don't mind at all. I was very young when Voldemort came to power and it had no affect on my family really because my parents weren't involved in magic. I am excellent at debating and arguing but I have a lot of empathy and get really sad a lot. All I want to do after Hogwarts is become a Magical Creatures Expert and travel the world. Magic is important and fascinating to me because it is a constant for me to lean on, it's the energy that everything grows from. I want to use magic to travel, mostly, other than that I only want to help creatures who need it. I have a pet dog at home (muggle families often do) but I have a ginger cat named Fleetfoot that belongs just to me. I get along well with my family but I often get into disagreements with them, they are the reason I am so stubborn. Any who, I love Hogwarts with my whole heart and can't wait to start this year.
