Anabeth Morton

Backstory

Anabeth Morton is a Publisher and Managing Editor at Obscurus Books. She is French by birth, born Anabeth Talbot, a long-standing Pureblood family in the French wizarding community. Her preferred nickname is Beth, but will respond to her full name. Her parents are French, and she is the youngest of three children, Ian Talbot (eldest), & Hannah Talbot-Hallett (middle). She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as a student in Slytherin House. She is skilled in charms and position making. Anabeth is extremely ambitious and cunning, willing to go to any means to achieve a goal. She's charismatic and draws people in, and is known to hold deep grudges against those who hurt her or her siblings. Once past the prickly exterior, she is kind and warm, but always outspoken and ready with an opinion. She does not have a good relationship with her mother Cecelia, who is controlling at best. Anabeth and her siblings were never enough, and it created deep cracks in their relationship with their mother. The day she was finally able to cut the old woman loose was extremely liberating for her.

She has two twin girls, Camille and Constance, with an ex-husband, and is currently married to her Hogwarts sweetheart, Logon Morton, who works as a Ministry of Magic Infrastructure Employee.
