Backstory

Ever since I was a young girl, I've always loved playing with animals. My father, Lucius Malfoy, has been particularly hard on my twin, Draco, especially because he would one day carry on the family's reputation. But that doesn't mean I wasn't reprimanded as well. There were regulations and customs I had to stick to as part of my pure-blood family. It gets really boring, and sometimes I just wish I could go somewhere else. Maybe somewhere I can be myself. Draco and I have always been close, he's been my one and only best friend. Especially because I never get to meet many kids my age. He is the proud, confident one who always enjoyed the spotlight. I usually stick to the shadows behind him, shy and quiet.

Just a week ago, we received our letter of acceptance to Hogwarts! Mother has told us that we have to do our best. That was what we kept in mind always. To be the best wherever we go. Draco doesn't have a problem with that, but I learned a few years ago, I am not that bright for my age. I was always the average student in my nursery and pre-schools, never speaking up. I just hope I get qualified to be a Slytherin. Hopefully, the Sorting Hat will think I'm a typical Malfoy....
