James Ralph

Backstory

James is muggle born, and had no idea the Wizarding World even existed until he got his letter. Having two parents that both work a lot, he spent his muggle school years in boarding school. His parents were more than happy for him to come to Hogwarts. He is a decent artist, and loves to carve things out of wood. He loves Ice Cream more than anything else in the world.

First Year (2/9 lessons done in each subject)

James was sorted into Ravenclaw, but didn't fit in with any of the other students at first. He struggles with social groups, especially when bigger than 1 on 1, and quickly became a loner. After some time another Ravenclaw girl in his class, Rowan, started talking to him. James thought she was sweet, and that he would finally have a friend, but the next day, she went straight back to ignoring him. He still doesn't understand why she just stopped talking to him, but it didn't help with his confidence.

After another couple of weeks, he made a new friend, Nora. She was a girl he met outside by the lake. She is in Gryffindor, and he was immediately blown away by her. She had some very unique features, and could do some unusual magic, but most of all, she was kind. She didn't make fun of him for being so shy, but laughed with him about it. He felt like there was someone that finally saw him for him. Nora introduced him to her friends, and then James finally built up the courage to ask her out, and she ran away. She kept running from him, and James thought he must of done something to ruin the friendship. James then found out that her parents had died, and she was struggling to deal with that, and James decided he would just try be the best friend to her he could be.
