Backstory

My name is Evelyn Rose, and I am essentially an orphan. My mother is still alive, but when I was three, she left me in an orphanage. She was an extremely powerful, but exceedingly evil witch. My father, I know nothing about. When I was nine, I was kicked out of the orphanage because strange things always seemed to happen around me, and that made people uneasy.

One day I got my Hogwarts letter and my life changed. All those strange things were explained! I was a witch! Then, a few days later I got fully introduced to the wizarding world by a strange boy, who said he was going into his third year at Hogwarts. He led me to Diagon Alley, and explained many of the complicated things about wizards. (Trust me, I had a LOT of questions!) He said there was a key and vault I'm Gringott's that had MY name on it, and that it was specially designed for my DNA to unlock it. When I opened it, to my surprise, it was bursting with gold!!! Who was my mother really, that she had all this for me.....?

Anyway, I went and got all of the things necessary for Hogwarts, (including my first wand! Hurray!) and stayed at an inn until it was time for the train. I met my best friends there, and they are fantastic! I'm staying with my Herbology teacher over the summer, and I absolutely LOVE Hogwarts so far.


P.S. I found out that the boy is in Slytherin, and I think his name is something like Kieran, or Kai. Not entirely sure. Hopefully I will meet him again soon to thank him! He seemed nice.....
