Backstory

I was sorted into Ravenclaw, half because I'm a bit of a know-it-all (and like to be), and half because I didn't really seem to fit in any of the other houses all that much. The Sorting Hat's decision was therefore pretty quick. My favourite classes are probably Charms, Astronomy, and Herbology. I'm not very good at practical stuff, so I hate Flying Lessons, and don't really enjoy Defence Against the Dark Arts either. I'm a muggleborn, which meant my first trip to Diagon Alley blew my mind to say the least. I have a younger sister, but we are in separate houses - she is in Hufflepuff. I have also have a pet cat! I live in the UK, and was studying in Hogwarts the second time He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named rose to power. My wand is made of Cypress wood with a unicorn hair core, is 11" long and has unyielding flexibility. My patronus is a Dun Mare. I like to think that my greatest strength is that I try not to let knowledge overrrun empathy, which can sometimes be a risk for a Ravenclaw. My greatest weakness however, is that I'm not very courageous and often overthink/over-worry about stuff - it seems Gryffindor would be the last house I would ever be placed in. I have no idea what I will do after I finish school - I don't have a dream job, I'm just hoping to figure it out along the way. I want to use magic to make the world a better and fairer place for everyone.
