Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts letter, I couldn't believe it! It was my birthday when my letter arrived. I am a Half-Born, so I knew I was a witch. My dad left my mother when he found out my mom was a witch, and my mom was killed by You-Know-Who when I was three so I live with my grandma. I was sorted into Gryffindor, just like my mother was, though the sorting hat had quite a time with me, I think it took about 5 minutes for it to sort me. My grandmother told me it was because my mother was almost put in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, but she convinced the hat t put her in Gryffindor, so the hat had a hard time with me too. I don't have many friends, though I like spending time with my three pets, Sugar ( a fox ), Lucky ( a lynx ) and Winter ( a owl ). Sometimes I sneak into the Forbidden Forest to stay with the thestrals. Sometimes when I go there, I see a centaur or two. My favourite class is the Care of Magical Creatures class. The creatures that most fascinate me are thestrals, dragons and griffins. I think the spell I like most I expecto patronum. My patronum is a dragon. Before I went to Hogwarts, at my old school in London, people used to call me Arya Loser, but I really didn't care. It's still my first year at Hogwarts and I already know much about Magical Creatures, of course I am good at other subjects too. In my free time, I enjoy going to the library, to study, because I like learning new things, and sometimes classes aren't enough. I also enjoy going to the school grounds, staying with Sugar, Lucky and Winter, and especially eating, the food at Hogwarts is great! I think that this house rivals thing is nonsense, so I want to be friends with Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs, and Slytherin.
