Backstory

My parents are both muggles, so we were all pretty surprised when a stranger knocked on our door with my Hogwarts letter. They eventually got over the initial shock and allowed me to go get my supplies. Thanks for the Hogwarts student fund, I got my supplies, then headed to Hogwarts. From what I had read about the houses, I assumed I'd be in Ravenclaw because I got good grades, so I was surprised when I was sorted into Slytherin. I'm really nervous since Slytherin is known for caring a lot about blood purity. But I'm excited too; I can't wait to start learning more about magic.
