Evanora Price

Backstory

Evanora Price is a young witch who strives to be the best at what she does. She is a calm, kind, and caring person who is always willing to lend a helping hand. However, she is a daring person who has the bravery of a man who’s been to Azkaban. She will also listen to anyone’s problem and be there to comfort them.

Evanora is a pure blood, so she grew up in a pretty wealthy family. She was home-schooled until she got a letter from Hogwarts. She isn't the top student in her class, but she tries her hardest in all her subjects. After all, she is really interested in pretty much all her classes.

When Evanora was four, her eyesight started to fade. Fortunately, it wasn’t too bad. Until one day, when she was almost five, she got caught up in a robbery. Evanora went to a Muggle candy store with her Nanny, and a few awful Muggles came in and started robbing the store. When they heard police sirens, they pushed Evanora aside as they broke through a window. Several glass shards got in her eye, causing her to become fully blind in both eyes.

Evanora is not ashamed of her blindness, but wears a blindfold to help her focus on her other senses. Since that accident, Evanora’s parents started trying to find a way to restore her sight.

At the age of seven, Evanora was powerful enough to summon her Patronus, which showed her parents. It turned out to be a Tortoiseshell Cat. Evanora trained herself to be able to sense objects through her Patronus (though it is very vague). This ability can only help her get a very brief idea of her surroundings, as well as helps her with writing. So if she was attacked, she wouldn’t be able to react in time. So if you pass her in the hall way, there’s a small chance you’ll see her Patronus following or in her shoulder.

However, her other senses are a bit more advance because she has to rely on them. Her sense of smell is abnormal. Despite her tragic accident, Evanora is a happy person who loves to make new friends. She loves animals, and is very interested in nature.
