Backstory

As a Muggle-born first year student who had no idea about the existence of magic up until very recently, attending Hogwarts has been a whopping culture shock, especially as my parents had been scornful cynics who had scoffed at the very notion of my newfound powers being more than just an overly planned prank, but I had always suspected that there had been something... different about me - something that set me apart from the endless crowds of Muggles leading their mundane lives without a meaningful purpose - and so, wanting to discover more about these truly fascinating talents I possessed, I was determined to work as hard as I could to be the best witch of my time - just like my role model, Hermione Granger - and here I am now, realising that dream. With the hardworking attitude of a Hufflepuff, the ambition of a Slytherin, and the intelligence of a Ravenclaw (I have never been classed as a Gryffindor, for my courage is still lacking), I know I can make it to the top one day.
