Backstory

I was born in a small town in the very heart of South Africa. My dad was a wizard and my mom a Herbologist. My sister and myself luckily both showed magical talent at a young age, my sister slightly before me. My dad was the potions master at the African school of magic Uagadou. He was cursed by a shaman versed in the dark arts and ended up in Luperci health centre where he lost all control of his mind and eventually passed away. Strangely, after his passing, my sister and I both received our letters from Hogwarts and not Uagadou. We moved to North after my fathers passing, so this could have something to do with it as Hogwarts was closer (strange world of magic right?). My sister is older than me and was in Slytherin. She's already finished her 7th year. This is my first year at Hogwarts and I'm super excited to see what magical knowledge lies ahead!
