Backstory

Must I say, I was ecstatic when I found out I was accepted at Hogwarts. Being a Half-blood, I had heard stories about Hogwarts from my father ever since I could remember. The day I finally got my own wand was probably one of the best days of my life; that hazel, 10 and 1/4 inch stick of wood containing a single phoenix feather inside. Needless to say, when I walked onto the train before the start of term, I could not wait to experience this thing that I had heard about for so long.
