Anya St. Clair

Backstory

My full name is Systanya Aurelia St. Clair, but you can call me Anya. Even though I was raised by my muggle god-mother, I always knew about my magic. My mother, Mesmira Aurelia, was from an old pureblood family and ran away from school and home when she fell in love with a muggle man, Edmond St. Clair. No one really knows what happened to them, only that one day the muggle police brought me to my god-mother, saying I had been left abandoned in an apartment, and she has raised me ever since. Personally, I think it had something to do with my mother experimenting on me with illegal dark magic and making me into an animagus before I could even walk, but no one has ever confirmed or denied that possibility. So I owe much to my lovely god-mother for treating me well, telling me about my magical background, and dealing with me turning into a giant snake at least once a day. When I finally got to Hogwarts, I was sorted into Slytherin. According to the Sorting Hat, my mother was one too, but that doesn't much matter to me. All I care about is excelling in my classes, working on my potions ( I like to experiment), and surrounding myself with loyal friends. I like to cut my own path, so I definitely haven't been hanging out with Pansy and her crew, or Draco for that matter. I have friends from all the houses and I intend to keep it that way. Year five, here I come!
