Backstory

Okay so how do I make this long story short? I don't know but here it goes. My name is Bethany but everyone calls me Beth. I was adopted and raised by muggles, when I was 9 I got so pissed at a girl in my class that I just wished she would dissapear. And she did, my "parents" did not let me go to school anymore after that incident. Some years later I got a letter saying I was going to Hogwarts and 1 month later I arrived here. The sortinghat did not hasitate when he put me in Slytherin. Everyone whispered about me. Apperently it was my last name that freaked them out. Gaunt the family name of Lord Voldemort. I still don't know who my real parents are but I won't let rumors and whispers get in the way of me becoming the most powerful and cleaver witch on earth. Let the fun begin.
