Backstory

Growing up as a Muggleborn, I was always fascinated with the world of engineering, and would spend a lot of my time in my parent's garage tinkering with various machinery. Engineering was like magic for me, and the ability to make a computer or machine do something I wanted was incredibly exciting. I particularly loved building robots, and would spend many sleepless nights trying to find out why my robots would act in ways that I had never programmed. Getting my Hogwarts letter was an enormous surprise, and I still remember the sense of wonder I felt when I first stepped foot into Diagon Alley. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, and would spend my days studying for the next Transfiguration exam, and my nights in the common room, trying to get electronics to function in magical settings. I am fascinated by the intersection of engineering and magic, and am always trying to find ways to augment the world of magic with engineering. After my time at Hogwarts, I decided to study computer engineering in a muggle university. I am currently working as a researcher in the Ministry of Magic, where I research magical applications in engineering. Feel free to stop by the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes on Level 3, and check out my research lab!
