Backstory: My Name is Andrew James Smith and I was born into a Half Blood Family In New York City. My Father was a Half Blood Auror and my Mother was a Pure Blood Ministry worker in the department of International Magical Cooperation. Me and my brothers were always very close so when I got my Hogwarts letter I was so excited that I was going to be able to be with them at Hogwarts. When We got to Kings Cross I was so excited because I was about to start my magical journey. When I ran through the wall and saw the Hogwarts Express I was amazed it was so amazing. On the train ride there I started to get nervous what if I wasn't any good at magic. When we got off the train and were on the boats I saw the castle for the first time and when I did my jaw dropped in amazement. When we entered the great hall to be sorted I started to get very nervous I wondered what house I was going to be in when It was my turn I hobbled up and sat down and the hat was on my head I started to sweat very hard. The sorting hat was stuck between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. After about 5 minutes the hat called out SLYTHERIN. A Slytherin I could not believe that I was in Slytherin. Since I come from a family of Slytherins I was so excited to be carrying on the family honor. I cannot wait to see what the new year will bring.
