Backstory

My parents, Muggle born, died from the cruciatus curse performed by Voldermort himself. The orphanage my mother and father grew up in was the 2nd last place they saw before they passed away. Voldermort took them into a cave near the sea by a nearby village and left them there to die, even though at 16 my mother was heavily pregnant. She gave birth to me there before taking her last breath and first but last look at her baby. A close friend to my father found me in the cave next to my parents' body, crying. He ran away from the orphanage with me, too scared to raise his best friends baby with voldermort as his roommate. He found a nearby home to raise me, and I grew up a happy child, not knowing my tragedy from my earliest days. My Dad's friend discovered I had magic and could talk to snakes, so ran away from his own home and left me behind, sad and alone. I think talking to snakes was Voldermort's fault, as he was the one who cursed my parents. I found Hogwarts when I decided to leave my misery behind at 11, and venture out into the wizarding world of magic. Once I stepped onto the Hogwarts ground, the staff thought I was an intruder, but then listened to my back story and raised me as their own and I also started my wizarding education at the place I now consider home.
