Backstory

House: Slytherin (all my family are Slytherin)
Blood type: Pureblood
Wand: Sycamore wood, Phoenix feather core, 12 1/2”
Appearance: 5 foot 6, grey eyes, pale skin, strawberry blonde hair with red streaks (all members of my family have red in our hair)
Patronus: Chinese Fireball Dragon
Backstory: Daxinia's family is a very old and powerful English family that comes from the North West. Her parents did support you-know-who’s views but they were never proper Death Eaters, unlike my Uncle, who is now in Azkaban. Her family is very traditional but she doesn’t agree with many of the views that are associated with people of my blood-status and class. Each member of her family has some red in their hair but they don’t know why. She agrees with the sorting hats decision as she values ambition and cunningness and that they are essential traits to succeed. She was homeschooled before coming to Hogwarts because her parents didn’t want her to mix too much with muggles. She is currently a 1st year student but is looking forward to studying care of magical creatures as she wants to become a magizoologist and perhaps go into teaching this subject when she's older. She has always had a fascination with magical creatures and wants to work with them to change a lot of the stigma around many of them. She has cared for a firedrake (named Taka) since she was 6 years old, Taka is extremely lively and enjoys attention but doesn’t like being told what to do, and has been responsible for her family’s Long-Eared Owl, Rin. He is a very proud bird but enjoys playing with her. She enjoys studying at Hogwarts because it gives her a chance to get away from her overbearing family and explore her interests.
Future (she is currently in her 1st year but this is what her future will be): After completing her N.E.W.Ts at Hogwarts she spent three years travelling the world studying different magical creatures before working for the Ministry of Magic in the Beast Division of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. She works to protect the creatures of this world and change the stigma surrounding some magical creatures. She would still like to teach but her work in the Ministry is more important. She lives in South Wales with her wife and an array of magical and non-magical creatures (including two cats, a raven, a snake, a firedrake and a crup).
