Backstory

My name is Estrella, pronounced eh-STRAY-jah. I'm eleven years old and am quite ready for my journey at Hogwarts. I'm a first year and a Slytherin at that. My pronouns are she/her. I've been told that my identifying features are typically my long, black hair and my steel-grey eyes. I come from a family of powerful witches and wizards, and both of my parents have magic. I was originally born in South Africa but moved to Britain after my sixth birthday, because my mother passed away. I now live alone with my father, who runs his own apothecary. The only other company in my house are my two pets: a plainbelly water snake named Stephansphira and an eagle owl named Alexander. Other than that, I plan to live a successful life and avoid annoyances like Gryffindorks.
