Backstory

As the youngest sitting member of the Wizengamot, I've had a lot of experience with the wizarding side of the law. As a Muggleborn orphan who knows exactly what happens whenever strange stuff happens around a street rat, I've had a lot of experience with the Muggle side of the law, too. Just on the other side of the bench.
In the Wizengamot, I listen to cases and step in if there is a generational gap between the older members and the accused. I'm told that my job has been rather honorary in the past, but after the War, Harry Potter insisted that my position be strengthened. Apparently, there was an incident when he was still in school where the old system worked against him. Unfortunately, the rules require that I resign when I turn eighteen, but the Minister of Magic recently mentioned that he plans to recommend me for a permanent seat when I do have to resign.
Until then, I stick around the Ministry and try and keep up with the schoolwork my teachers send me. But honestly! Why should I be writing all of these essays when there are so many interesting people for me to talk to?
