Backstory

Upon my arrival at Hogwarts I was sorted into Ravenclaw house. While the hat had barely touched my head before sorting this I do believe it has something to do with my favorite hobby of reading, puzzles (Puzzle boxes in particular) and learning in general. My grandparents on my mothers side are originally from Britain and the two of them met at Hogwarts before moving to the states and working for MACUSA. I'm a halfblood, my father being a muggleborn and my mother a pureblood, my father attended Illvermorny and my mother, Hogwarts. I was accepted to both and made the decision to go to Hogwarts based on my mother's and grandparents stories. I have a particular affection for charms and potions but I'm also quite good at DADA. I don't particularly enjoy Care of Magical Creatures as I can be quite forgetful about what acceptable for some creature and what isn't for others. While I have done well in herbology it is not one of my favorites. My grandparents and parents were not in the UK when You-Know-Who rose to power, it was quite interesting from this side of the world because we heard much of what was happening but did not really experience it. My greatest strength would probably be that I understand both worlds very well, whenever my pureblood friends come to visit I'm a liaison of sorts for when we go out to make sure they don't screw up. After school I'm looking to become a healer. My youngest sister was also accepted to both Hogwarts and Illvermorny but she chose to attend Illvermory along with my middle sister like my father had. ON my mother's side almost everyone in my family is a Hufflepuff, I was the first in almost a century to not be sorted into it. on my fathers side almost all of them were thunderbirds until my middle sister who is a horned serpent while my youngest is still and thunderbird.
